Why We Do What We Do

At Tesoro, we don’t just design eyewear—we help you tell your story. Our story is important. It allows us to separate ourselves and celebrate what makes each of us unique. 

Our story began in Wichita, Kansas, where I grew up in the back of my family’s glasses store. I watched my parents work tirelessly, facing the challenges of competing with big-box retailers. It was there, surrounded by frames, lenses, and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, that my passion for quality and design took root.

I have designed, developed and launched hundreds of products. I have won two world branding awards, and I know design is more than how it looks. I create products that use only the highest quality materials that deliver value for a very long time. 

With Tesoro, I’ve poured that lifelong passion into every detail, bringing my vision to life. I’ve always believed in tastefully combining the bold sophistication of black with the radiant allure of gold. Each piece I create is designed to embody elegance, style, and durability—something you’ll treasure for years to come.

Tesoro means "treasure" in Italian, and that’s exactly what I want our eyewear to represent: a perfect blend of beauty, craftsmanship, and the special moments you’ll experience while wearing them.
